Fueling our journey into being the curator of homegrown creativity, we invite you to join the first Digital Art Competition.




The competition is open to all Filipinos residing in the Philippines, aged 18 and above.

There are TWO (2) categories in the preliminaries:

  • Student Category for currently enrolled students in a duly recognized academic institution
  • Professional Category for those working as designers, creatives, artists in any industry


Entrants must submit a digital art (print) following their graphical interpretation of the theme -

Vision of Future Self

Your Future Self who follows his/her heart by celebrating creativity,
Your creative self as a loving member of your family,
Your innovative self as a responsible citizen of the community.


Only one entry per person is allowed.

Entries must be in digital art (print) form. All entries must be 1080 x 1920 pixels, at least 300 DPI, and in .jpeg format.


Entries must be original.  Entries with elements whose copyright belongs to other creatives or corporation/ entities are subject to disqualification. Proof of payment or receipt may be required by the organizer to validate purchase of image/s used as base art from any image bank or original owner.


Entries must not have been used in another competition, published, or distributed commercially.


Entries should not contain inappropriate content such as but not limited to: promotion of other brands; malicious and/or explicit content; or offend race, religion, sex, sentiments or public taste.




Entries must be in digital art (print) format. Animation, motion graphics, and other sub-classification of digital art that cannot be rendered to print are exempted from the contest.


Qualified entries must be digitally manipulated, reworked, or are artworks that used digital technology, and/or software to create the entry.  Final output should be digital. The following will not be accepted:

  • +  Hand drawn, painted, or other similar form of art that were scanned and/or copied but were not digitally manipulated, reworked, or enhanced
  • +  Printed images that were painted over, drawn on, or other similar manual processes




To submit entry, entrants must duly fill out the required fields in the registration page and agree to the Terms & Conditions of the competition.


Entries must be uploaded to a publicly accessible site domain or account such as One Drive, Google Drive, or Dropbox.

Deadline of submission of entries is extended until 11:59pm of 15 October, 2017.





A panel of six (6) judges shall select qualified entries for both Student and Professional categories following this set of criteria:


The entry makes use of proper references to the theme. The combination of visual elements in the image illustrates the entrant’s clear interpretation of the theme.


The work fuses new and refreshing digital techniques to the entry. Introduction of new perspective or visual communication to convey the entrant’s interpretation to the theme.


Undeniably novel and unique, the work is independently produced. It is not distinguished by related works, or a combination of such. It can stand on its own being a product of innovation and creativity.


The mastery of techniques and combination of elements are highly commendable. The entrant was able to express the theme through various technical executions.


The panel of judges shall select twelve (12) entries, six (6) entries each for student and professional category, respectively.


WORKSHOP (Cascade of theme for final round)


All 12 preliminary winners should undergo a one-day workshop with Hyundai to qualify for the grand finals.

All preliminary winners will be creating new artworks for final judging. From the 12, three (3) will be chosen for the Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards.


The judges will base their deliberation and scores from the same criteria used in the preliminaries.

Announcement of preliminary and grand final winners will be posted on Hyundai's website, social media accounts, and press releases.


All winning entries will be featured in exhibitions and merchandise line-up.


The organizers have the right to use, produce, and reproduce the entries for promotional materials, exhibition, and publication to the general public.


Gold Award: Trophy + P80,000.00
Silver Award: Trophy + P60,000.00
Bronze Award: Trophy + P40,000.00
Preliminary Winners: Certificate + P15,000.00

Promotion of work through press releases, Hyundai website, social media accounts, merchandise, exhibition
Guaranteed seat in a workshop with renowned digital creatives and Hyundai executives
